(2024) Loosely based off of a young Traveller’s Palm tree, this one-of-a-kind steel chair is forged by hand to create a conflicting combination of delicacy and strength. Withering, fragile leaves are trapped in motion through the endurance of metal. This piece is the 1st in a series of works aiming to suspend the ephemeral impermanence of nature in an unnerving way.

(2025) Based off the shape of Sassafras tree leaves, this one-of-kind chair continues the series that seeks to suspend the fleeting experience of nature in an unnatural way. Through tough steel that is forged and welded to give the illusion of delicacy and decay, this piece offers a conflicting sense of material and meaning.
